I was a blissful owner and manager of a hip CD and record shop. I built it due to my my love for an ever-expanding record collection. I had so many vinyl records my only recourse was to start selling them as an occupation. Well, I did start a record shop. I had a great time managing it for a long time. But it didn't take before I decided I could no longer do it. I listed my business on the market. The decision was hard but actually finding a buyer was even more complicated.

I decided to hire a business adviser to help me the best buyer. First off, I didn't want to sell to a big, souless, and national company. I wished the new owner wouldn't change too much.
