Selling a Company is Hard. Find a Broker

I'd been a cheerful manager of a hip vinyl record store for for around 20 years. I started it because of my interest in music and collecting records. My significant other mentioned I build a record store. she probably just wanted all those records out of the house. I ran a record store for awhile but four years ago I came upon the realization that running a business wasn't what I wanted to do. I put up an ad to sell. The decision was hard but actually selling it was even more hard.

My friend suggested hiring a business broker to assist me. I Decided I didn't want to sell to a big, souless, and national company. I hoped for whoever purchased it would keep the original, DIY business model that I'd nurtured. Once I located a exclusive franchising territories Atlanta GA I was glad they would try to respect my wishes.

Now that it's not my store I still visit to shop for records. I'm constantly looking for more records, but the drawback being my record collection is quickly expanding. I hope I'll keep these records to my myself this time.
